Role Description:

As a Finance and Operations Associate at Captain AI, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our financial and operational integrity.

Your responsibilities include ensuring financial stability through diligent planning, managing payroll, cash flows, and preparing accurate financial statements and accruals.

Beyond finance, you'll provide comprehensive operational support, contributing to marketing, sales, legal matters, insurance, and investor relations, directly under the CEO's guidance.

Position Details:

• Full-time/Part-time (Flexible)
• Fully Remote
• Based in North America/EDT or willing to work in North American EDT time zone

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Handle payroll operations efficiently.
• Maintain precise financial records through bookkeeping.
• Align expenses with revenues via monthly accruals.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for financial health tracking.
• Manage contracts and ensure timely invoice payments.

Operations Oversight:

• Foster investor relations to build trust and maintain investor confidence.
• Handle legal matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Monitor insurance policies for adequate coverage and risk management.

Executive Support:

• Execute tasks proactively as directed by the CEO.
• Adapt swiftly to changing priorities and requirements.
• Deliver high-quality work within set time frames.
• Marketing & Business Development Support:
• Assist the marketing team with market research.
• Manage LinkedIn and Twitter feeds.
• Support the business development team throughout the sales process.
