Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for making a difference? Allianz, a global insurance company with a presence in 70 countries, is seeking an Engineer Surveyor to join their Engineering Inspection Services team. As a newly recruited Engineer Surveyor, you will play a critical role in Allianz Engineering's inspection services by visiting client sites to assess a wide range of plant, equipment, and installations. You'll also have the opportunity to enroll in their unrivaled induction training program, setting you up for success in this exciting role.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit client sites to carry out inspections and assess a variety of plant, equipment, and installations
  • Prepare reports of examination using electronic reporting to ensure timely delivery to clients
  • Work closely with the Engineer Surveyor Team and Senior Operations Team Leaders
  • Anticipate client needs and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Conduct hands-on inspections of lifts, cranes, material handling equipment, and construction plant
  • Work in physically demanding environments, including heights, confined spaces, lifting, and varying temperatures and exposures

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in a Mechanical related subject
  • Full UK driving license
  • Up-to-date knowledge of compliance and regulatory rules and procedures related to Lift and Crane discipline
  • Effective time management and planning skills
  • Comfortable using tablets and smartphones for daily work

Desirable Skills:

  • Incorporated Engineer qualification
