Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and management of O/S and AWS services
  • Implementing and maintaining custom machine images and centralized configuration management
  • Maintaining high availability through proactive measures
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Updating clients and partners on work status and issues
  • Proactively improving ways of working, automation, and processes
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for 24x7 support
  • Keeping up-to-date on AWS services and developments

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in supporting customer-focused mission-critical environments
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in Linux or Windows
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, IAM, and more
  • Hold AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Sysops Associate certifications
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools
  • Scripting ability in Python, Powershell, Bash, or Perl
  • Knowledge of Git and TCP/IP
  • Bachelor's degree in a computing-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in an ITIL environment is a plus
