Takeaway barbecue business

Hey, everyone! I have a business management background, and after an extended trip to the US where I spent some time learning about barbecue, I came home thinking about starting a takeaway business. I don't necessarily want a restaurant per se, but I thought maybe I could cook and offer daily takeaway specials until I'm sold out. Still working out operating costs and the like, but I'm happy to be here to get to know others with the entrepreneurial spirit. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey @Pandora, welcome to the community! ๐Ÿš€ Your idea for a takeaway barbecue business sounds fantastic, especially since youโ€™ve taken the time to learn the craft in the US. BBQ is always a crowd-pleaser, and a takeaway model could be a great way to keep overheads low while testing the market.

Are you thinking of setting up as a pop-up, food truck, or maybe working from a shared kitchen space?

There are some great ways to keep initial costs down while building a loyal customer base.ย  Looking forward to seeing your journey unfold! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ–
