Wanted to share a quick story that might help anyone dealing with tight closing timelines. I was in escrow and everything was on track—until my original lender backed out just 48 hours before closing 😬.

In a bit of a scramble, I connected with a rep at RIF Bank, which specializes in same-day, no-collateral real estate loans. I sent over the required documents in the morning, and by that evening, the funds were in my account. The process was super smooth, and the interest rate came in around 5.25%, which was surprisingly competitive.

If you’re ever in a bind or just want a reliable backup lender who doesn’t require mountains of paperwork, I can definitely recommend RIF. Happy to introduce you to my rep if it helps.

Anyone else had experience with alternative lenders for last-minute closings? Would love to hear how it went.

Goodness me, I can't believe that your lender backed out on such short notice!  It placed a massive burden on you.  You are amazing for not giving into anxiety and giving up.  Virtual high-five for making it work, and thanks for sharing your resource.  Now I'll know where to turn when I need financing.
