Smallville Still Holds Up So Well

Doing my yearly rewatch of Smallville again and I forgot how much I bloody love this show 😂

Honestly, if you haven't watched it in years, go back and watch it again. It still holds up ridiculously well.

Tom Welling is perfect as Clark, Michael Rosenbaum is probably still my favourite Lex Luthor ever, and I genuinely love pretty much all of the characters.

The best part for me is watching Lex slowly become Lex Luthor.

You can see all the little moments that push him further and further down that road, and there are SO many points where I'm sat there thinking "JUST TELL HIM THE TRUTH, CLARK" or getting angry at Lionel for completely screwing with his head 😂

That's what makes Lex such a good character though. You don't just meet him as the villain. You watch him become one.

Some of the episodes are cheesy as hell, some storylines make absolutely no sense, and somehow nobody in Smallville realises Clark is obviously not normal...

But I don't care 😂

If you haven't watched Smallville for a few years, this is your sign. Go rewatch it.
