About the challenge
In 2015, the United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – 17 global objectives aimed at ending poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring peace and prosperity for all people by 2030.
However, only 17% of them are currently on track.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers significant potential to accelerate progress toward sustainable development, with applications ranging from crop health monitoring to improved access to healthcare. These technical advancements present a powerful opportunity to upskill and inspire more people to utilize technology in support of the SDGs.
