Funding opportunity: Mathematical sciences open and open plus fellowship

These are personal, career development focused awards.

You must have either:

• a PhD and some years of additional research experience
• more than four years’ experience in a relevant field by the start of your fellowship

You must be hosted and supported by an eligible UK research organisation during your fellowship.

Your Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) fellowship can be up to five years long and may be held part time.

Your fellowship must focus on research where the majority of the research novelty lies within our mathematical sciences remit.

Open plus fellowships have an additional focus on enhancing the research environment and culture.
