Description

This opportunity is for the supply of and delivery to site of asset labels required for the HS2 Old Oak Common station construction project. There is a requirement for various label types, sizes and materials.

The requirement is in accordance with the Asset Labelling Standard: HS2-HS2-IM-STD-000-000004

The estimated required quantity is 50k-100k labels to be ordered in batches.

Types of labels required:

Exterior labels - durable, degradation proof in accordance with road signage standard BS EN 12899-1:2007 class RA1 sign.

Interior labels - durable to the extent that they will last for at least ten years without degradation.

Label materials should be one of the following:

โ€ข Label materials should be one of the following:
- Multi-layer acrylic sheets, such as RowmarkLasermaxor Gravoglas2, laser engraved to form the characters on each label.
- Multi-layer phenolic plastic sheets, such as Traffolyte, laser engraved to form the characters on each label.
- For linear assets, such as pipes and cables, flexible labels made from zero halogen, low toxicity, radiation cross linked ultraviolet stabilised polyolefin sheet may also be used, so long as the radius of curvature of the label is no less than 15mm.
- Where specified, stainless-steel labels, laser engraved in black to form the characters on each label.
