Welcome to the Unimelb DSCubed x UWA DSC Generative AI Competition!

After our workshop series, you’ll have five daysβ€”September 9th to 13thβ€”to put your skills to the test. Customise your own AI data cleaning agent and submit your entry on Devpost for a shot at some great prizes. This is your chance to show off what you’ve learned, get creative, and see how your solution stacks up against others. Don’t miss out!

Requirements

What to Build

You can build almost anything, as long as it's based on the Data Cleaning AI Agent from our workshops.

Some example ideas to help you get started:

  • Build a user interface for the AI agent
  • Add more advanced data cleaning features
  • Add support to work with multiple datasets

What to Submit

  • A Github link to your project
  • A short demo video to showcase your agent (2-5 mins)

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity
    Does your project bring fresh ideas or unique solutions to the table? How well does it push the boundaries of what’s possible with generative AI and data cleaning?
  • Impact
    How meaningful is your solution in solving real-world problems? Does it have the potential to benefit users or organizations outside the competition?
  • Technical Excellence
    Is your implementation solid and reliable? Are your code, architecture, and AI methods thoughtfully designed and well-executed?
  • Working Prototype
    Does your submission include a functional prototype? Is it able to process data and demonstrate the proposed features?
  • Presentation
    Is your demo video compelling and easy to follow? Does your submission clearly communicate the value and features of your project?
