Intro

over the last few years, fetch.ai has successfully run multiple hackathons that attracted thousands of developers. these events helped validate the technology stack and created strong early momentum across uagents, agentverse, and asi: one. our current phase is different. the priority now is deeper usage, repeat usage, and real adoption of asi: one. we want participants to leave with clear mental models and confidence that these tools can take an idea from zero to a compelling business case in hours. the prompt-a-thon is designed specifically for this phase โ€” shorter, cheaper to run, and sharply focused on real product usage rather than exploration alone. about the challenge a prompt-a-thon is a one-day, high-intensity working session where participants use asi: one as the central interface to generate high-impact agent ideas, frame the solution as a real business opportunity, and present the outcome directly from asi: one. the output is not just a concept. the output is a fully articulated agent idea backed by a business narrative that explains why it should exist. why this format works: hackathons are great for discovery. prompt-a-thons are better for habit formation. participants stay inside asi: one for ideation and presentation โ€” this naturally builds muscle memory and product fluency. slightly less technical participants will also be able to contribute, demonstrating that asi: one is genuinely accessible. because the event runs in a single day, venue costs are lower, travel is easier to justify, the time commitment feels manageable, and teams stay focused instead of drifting.

Requirements

2. What You're Submitting

Every submission must consist of two things:

A. A fully developed agent idea generated and refined inside ASI: One, evidenced by your prompting session id and share id here, the example

B. A live presentation that includes a business case delivered through ASI: One

There is no partial credit for vague or underdeveloped ideas. If your concept isn't clearly articulated with a defined user, a real problem, and a credible agent-based solution, your team may not be scored.

3. The Tools You Must Use

The following are required for a valid submission:

ASI: One (asi1.ai) must be used for all idea generation and for the final presentation. Evidence of genuine, substantive usage is part of what judges evaluate.

External research, domain knowledge, and third-party references may support your thinking โ€” but all ideation and refinement must flow through ASI: One.

4. Starting From Zero

All work must begin at the official start of the ideation phase. Specifically:

  • No pre-prepared idea decks or business cases may be submitted

  • No previously developed agent concepts may be repurposed for this submission

  • Prior reading, product exploration, and general research are fine โ€” arriving with a finished idea is not

Any evidence of pre-prepared submissions will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Presentation Rules

Each team has 5 minutes to present, followed by 3 minutes of questions from the judges.

Presentations must:

  • Be delivered live โ€” no pre-recorded video segments

  • Be run through ASI: One

  • Clearly address who the user is, what the problem is, and why an agent is the right solution

  • Include a demonstration of the idea within ASI: One โ€” showing how the concept was developed and how it would work

Teams must be present and ready at their assigned presentation slot. Missing your slot forfeits your entry.
