Welcome to QF HackFest, a global innovation hackathon where creativity, technology, and problem-solving come together to build solutions that can shape the future.
QF HackFest is designed to bring together developers, designers, researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and innovators from around the world to collaborate, learn, and create impactful projects. Whether you're participating in your first hackathon or you're an experienced builder, QF HackFest provides an environment where ideas can be transformed into real-world solutions.
The hackathon is open to everyone regardless of background, experience level, or academic discipline. Participants can work individually or in teams to tackle challenges across multiple domains of innovation and emerging technology. The event encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, enabling people with different skill sets to work together and create solutions that are technically strong, user-focused, and socially impactful.

Throughout the event, participants will gain access to learning resources, technical support, mentorship opportunities, networking sessions, and community discussions. Our goal is not only to host a competition but to create a learning experience where participants can improve their technical skills, explore new technologies, and connect with like-minded innovators.
Projects can be built using any programming language, framework, technology stack, or platform. We encourage participants to think creatively and develop solutions that demonstrate innovation, practicality, usability, and measurable impact.
QF HackFest is built around the belief that innovation should be accessible to everyone. Great ideas can come from anywhere, and this event provides a platform for those ideas to be explored, validated, and showcased to a global audience.

Requirements
To be eligible for judging, all participants must submit their projects before the official submission deadline through the Devpost platform.
Projects should align with at least one of the hackathon themes and demonstrate originality, technical implementation, and problem-solving ability.
Required Submission Components Project InformationEach submission must include:
- Project Name
- Team Name (if applicable)
- Team Member Information
- Selected Theme/Track
- Project Description
Clearly explain:
- What problem your project addresses
- Why the problem is important
- Who benefits from the solution
Describe:
- How your solution works
- Key features
- What makes it unique
- Expected impact
Participants must submit a demo video showing:
- Introduction to the project
- Core functionality
- User workflow
- Technical highlights
Recommended length: 2–5 minutes.
Source Code RepositoryProvide a public GitHub repository containing:
- Source code
- Installation instructions
- Documentation
- Dependencies
Your documentation should include:
- Project overview
- Technology stack
- Setup instructions
- Feature descriptions
- Future improvements
Include screenshots or images that help explain your solution.
Optional MaterialsParticipants may also submit:
- Research documents
- Design prototypes
- Architecture diagrams
- Deployment links
- User testing results
Projects must be functional or demonstrate a clear working prototype. Incomplete or non-functional submissions may receive lower evaluation scores.
