The Melton Foundation Action Grants provide funding for projects and initiatives addressing social and global challenges, including education, community action, advocacy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Up to $2,000 per Action Grant
Funding available throughout the year
Community action projects
Education and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Advocacy, networking and outreach
Projects addressing global issues and the SDGs
Social-impact initiatives
Projects can operate locally or internationally
GlobalGiving crowdfunding support can also be combined with an Action Grant.
Who can apply?
This is the big restriction: applicants must already be directly affiliated with the Melton Foundation
Applicants must be a Melton Fellow or standing Task Team member
Fellows can apply individually or collaboratively
Applicants must be in good standing regarding previous Melton Foundation grants
Funding must be used specifically for the activities approved in the grant award.
