What the grant is for and about: The Fisheries and Seafood Scheme (FaSS) provides financial assistance for projects that support the development of the catching, processing, and aquaculture sectors, as well as projects that enhance the marine environment. It aims to safeguard the long-term sustainability, resilience, and prosperity of the seafood sector across England.
What is required for application: Applicants must be engaged in commercial or recreational sea fishing, aquaculture, processing, or related activities. Eligible applicants include individuals, businesses, public bodies, local authorities, universities, research institutes, and new entrants to the industry. Applicants must declare any previous government funding received and provide a level of match funding for their projects.
