The AWS Game Builder Challenge invites developers of all skill levels to create innovative games using Amazon Q Developer—a generative AI-powered assistant—and at least one additional AWS service. Participants can work individually or in teams to showcase their creativity and technical prowess. The challenge offers a prize pool of $150,000, with categories including Best Game, Most Time Saved to Build Game, and Best Use of Multiple AWS Services. Submissions are open until 14 January 2025, providing an excellent opportunity to develop unique gaming experiences and gain recognition within the developer community.
