The CodeStorm Hackathon, hosted by FIYGE Research Inc., invites software developers to showcase their innovation and creativity across two distinct tracks:

  1. FIYGE Track: Participants are tasked with developing solutions that integrate seamlessly into FIYGE's ERP system, focusing on areas such as form building, no-code rule engines, custom dashboards, third-party integrations, and AI services.

  2. Tacenda Track: This track challenges participants to build AI-driven applications over a 22-day period, with the opportunity to pitch to investors for potential funding ranging from $500,000 to $3 million.

Key Details:

  • Event Dates: 9 November to 10 December 2024
  • Submission Deadline: 10 December 2024, 11:45 PM EST
  • Eligibility: Individuals aged 20 and above, either currently employed or in their final year of graduation and actively seeking employment. Attendance at the kickoff event is mandatory.
  • Prizes: CAD $10,000 for each track winner; the first 50 in-person registrants at the kickoff event receive a special participation incentive.

Participants must submit their projects individually, including source code, a 3-5 minute demo video, comprehensive documentation, and sample data or examples. All projects must be initiated and completed within the hackathon timeframe, adhering to open-source licensing under permissive licenses such as MIT or Apache 2.0.

This hackathon offers a platform for developers to tackle real-world tech challenges, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and potentially secure full-time career opportunities with FIYGE.
