About the role
At tuktukrental.com, we're looking for a Country Co-Founder to lead our expansion in tourism destinations where tuktuks operate - it could be Philippines, India, Egypt or anywhere else in the world. This isn’t just another operations role—it’s an opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up. You’ll work side by side with our HQ team to tailor our tuk-tuk rental platform to the new region, attract adventure-seeking travelers, and grow a business that makes sustainable travel accessible.
We are in search of candidates from Melbourne, Sydney, London and Amsterdam who would like to travel to tourism destinations where tuktuks operate and expand our services in those markets.
We need a true self-starter—someone who would love to travel to a new location, thrives in fast-paced, uncertain environments and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. Specific responsibilities
Launch & Growth
Develop and execute the market entry strategy for your city/country.
Validate market fit, customer interest, and potential routes or destinations.
Build early traction through strategic partnerships, collaborations, and outreach.
Marketing & Brand Building
Serve as the local face of tuktukrental.com—representing the brand at events, in media, and within the travel and sustainability community.
Collaborate with our central marketing team on campaigns tailored to your region.
Engage local content creators, influencers, and tourism partners.
Customer Experience & Operations
Oversee the full customer journey—from booking to return—to ensure exceptional experiences.
Establish and manage any operational needs (e.g., vehicle logistics, local suppliers, insurance, etc.) as needed in your market.
Business Strategy & Leadership
Own the P&L, key performance indicators, and growth metrics for your country.
Work closely with HQ to align local execution with global goals.
Build and lead a small local team over time.

Must have:
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record launching or scaling a product, service, or company
Strong understanding of travel, tourism, or sustainable mobility markets
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
Experience building and managing teams or partnerships
A strong customer-first mindset and obsession with delivering exceptional experiences
A global outlook but deep local market knowledge in your country
Full working rights in your country of residence
Experience in social impact or mission-driven businesses
A network in the travel, tourism, or digital nomad sectors
Familiarity with Southeast Asian travel or tuktukrental.com’s existing markets
