Funding for Australian Community Projects – Harcourts Foundation

The Harcourts Foundation Grants Programme supports community-based charitable organisations delivering practical projects that help strengthen and enrich communities across Australia.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Cash grant funding for specific community projects

• Funding for a particular event, project, item or initiative

• Projects should benefit as many people within the community as possible

• Priority may be given to projects in areas where Harcourts offices operate and contribute to the Foundation

• National and regional organisations can apply for specific local community projects

• Projects must not have already taken place or items already been purchased

• The Foundation does not publish a fixed minimum or maximum grant amount for the current round.

Who can apply?

• Australian charitable organisations

• Community-based organisations

• Applicants must have DGR Type 1 status

• Applicants must also hold Tax Concession Charity (TCC) status

• Projects must benefit a defined Australian community

• Individuals aren't eligible

• Religious, political and lobbying activities aren't funded

• Successful organisations must wait 18 months before applying again.
