The Global EbA Fund is offering major grants for innovative projects that help scale Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) and strengthen the resilience of vulnerable communities and ecosystems to climate change.
The Medium-Size Grants programme is looking for ambitious projects that go beyond individual conservation activities and tackle the wider barriers preventing nature-based climate solutions from being adopted, financed and scaled.
Hereโs what you can expect:
Up to $500,000 in grant funding per project
Up to 10 medium-size grants available
Projects can run for up to 24 months
Support for innovative and scalable climate adaptation solutions
Funding to strengthen institutional and technical capacity
Support for improved climate data, evidence and knowledge
Funding for innovative financing approaches that can unlock further public and private investment
Support for integrating Ecosystem-based Adaptation into national climate, biodiversity, land and development policies
Funding for investment-ready concepts and financing strategies
Support for locally led approaches and knowledge sharing
Projects can operate at country, multi-country or global level
Priority themes include Innovative Finance Solutions for EbA, EbA for Human Development and Security, and approaches that strengthen evidence, innovation and the wider enabling environment for nature-based climate adaptation.
