Hello, I’m Emily

 

I am a founder, investor, advisor, speaker and coach. Everything I do is with the focus on the leadership and people side of growing and scaling a startup but doing it the Human Way. I’m passionate about building not only companies and leaders but the whole startup/scale up ecosystem. 

 

I do this in 4 ways:

 

1. As a Mentor on various incubators, I work with founders from early stage to series stage to help them become leaders, consider their talent and people strategy and more.
2. Team Optimisation and Acceleration - Facilitator for team sessions (or cohorts for those in fundraising or incubation portfolios) on how to get unstuck, be stronger leaders and scale faster and with better success. Work includes: communication, decision making, prioritisation, leadership capabilities and so much more.
3. Leadership Coaching - both 1:1 and small teams, I’m the guide and support for leaders as they set and meet leadership and personal goals, navigate challenges and develop all aspects of themselves as there business grows. I do this holistically and with a focus on the individual needs. Being a leader is lonely and having a coach is proven to better personal and business performance and more balanced wellbeing.
4. People Strategy - working with scaling companies, especially those undergoing the fundraising process  who need to create and implement a plan, to give attention and consultation on how to strategise the path forward on the people and leadership side of their growth.

 

I have a passion for innovative businesses and am sector agnostic having worked for over 20yrs in various sectors, all over the world. I am a Canadian by birth but now live and play here in the UK.
