Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional lead for Workday Financials and Grants Management, partnering with various departments to design and optimize financial and grants management systems and processes
• Support the full lifecycle of sponsored research in Workday, including award setup, budgeting, amendments, billing, and closeout
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design efficient and compliant business processes, gather requirements, and identify improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support financial management, grants oversight, and decision-making
• Provide ongoing functional support to users and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience supporting financial systems, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management
• Strong experience with Workday Grants Management and sponsored research business processes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in or closely with higher education, research institutions, or grant-funded organizations is preferred
