NuTechs: FPGA Development Engineer

Salary: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Location: Novi, MI 48304 (Hybrid/Remote due to COVID-19)

As a member of our embedded development group, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing, designing, and developing our next generation embedded products
• Working on-site until training is completed, then transitioning to a hybrid model
• Developing and maintaining embedded designs
• Creating technical designs based on requirements
• Performing unit and system tests
• Updating documentation

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Experience with VHDL and logic analyzers
• A solid understanding of Object-Oriented methodologies and general programming software technology
• Experience with Xilinx chips, C++, and system interfaces such as CAN, JTAG, I2C, USB, and Ethernet (a plus)
• Knowledge of software design patterns, data acquisition concepts and systems, and automobile and engine controls systems (desirable)
