Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year + annual bonus

Location: Hybrid (minimum of 4 days weekly in the office at one of our hubs in Atlanta, La Vista, Oakdale, Scottsdale, Berwyn Park, or St. Petersburg)

Role

As a Senior Financial Planning Strategist, you will provide expert financial planning advice to financial advisors for their high-net-worth clients. Your focus will be on estate planning, business planning, and tax planning strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert financial planning advice to financial advisors for their high-net-worth clients, with a focus on estate planning, business planning, and tax planning strategies
  • Utilize research, technology, and experience to address complex financial planning issues and present solutions to advisors
  • Review and summarize complex estate planning and business governance documents
  • Distill complex planning strategies into actionable recommendations for advisors to present to their clients
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in legislation and regulations to inform strategic direction
  • Deliver presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Mentor colleagues to develop their financial planning skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in financial planning, preferably in a client- or advisor-facing role
  • CFP designation
  • Ability to deliver educational content and present to diverse audiences
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g. eMoney)
  • CPA
  • FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses
  • J.D. or LL.M.
