Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other operations leads to support public cloud environments for Solera products and projects
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure efficient development and high-quality deliverables
  • Refine and improve operational processes for highly available enterprise systems
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with the global IT Operations team
  • Maintain and enhance the cloud roadmap with a focus on business outcomes
  • Provide technical direction and vision to align the cloud team with the company's strategy
  • Create and deliver presentations to executive and C-level stakeholders to gain support and communicate goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, including at least 3 years managing managers and 8+ years managing engineering teams
  • Experience managing engineering teams of 15+ members, including multiple agile teams
  • Strong knowledge of public cloud technologies and environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with on-prem to cloud or cloud to on-prem migrations
  • Proficiency in shell and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, and PowerShell
  • Familiarity with progressive technologies like Kubernetes and Nomad
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
  • Ability to work on complex projects with minimal guidance
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a demanding environment
