As a Solution Consultant, you will play a critical role in fueling the company's growth and success by leveraging your technical expertise and consultative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer secure and scalable solutions utilizing Belden's network switching, routing, wireless, and software solutions.
  • Partner with clients and sales teams to provide IT/OT convergence solutions and physical AI applications for specific industry verticals.
  • Utilize validated architectures to create customized solutions that provide high value to clients.
  • Use automation tools to increase opportunity velocity and win rates.
  • Drive bookings by proposing secure solutions, including cybersecurity and third-party elements.
  • Expand Belden's influence within end customers, SI, EPC, and engineering communities in the Americas region.
  • Co-create proof-of-concepts that demonstrate significant operational and financial impact.
  • Facilitate smooth handovers to internal execution teams and identify areas for improvement in processes and solutions.
  • Secure customer commitment through top-notch solutions, services, and post-sale support programs.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience designing or implementing solutions (L1/L2, wireless), software, and services for large or complex client networks in material handling, discrete/automotive, or process markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, communications, or engineering, with a focus on wired and wireless networking, data platform/visualization, LAN/WAN, and Ethernet-based communications.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including solution architects, product managers, sales, and marketing.
  • Track record of successfully consulting with clients to identify and resolve critical network challenges.
  • Familiarity with automation tools for creating executive summaries, scope of work, network architecture, physical and logical topology, bill of materials, and service and SLAs.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, with a frequency of 50% or more.
