Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the onboarding of web applications into a Content Delivery Network (CDN) and ensure optimal delivery and integration of security policies.
  • Manage and maintain Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) across various environments (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid) and configure WAF rules to protect against web application threats.
  • Execute Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) scans to identify vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation guidance.
  • Monitor and analyze web application traffic and threat activity, and proactively respond to any anomalies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to triage and address identified vulnerabilities and potential threats.
  • Contribute to incident response efforts related to application-layer attacks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to WAF policies, scan results, and remediation plans.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with WAF technologies (Akamai Kona, Azure App Gateway, Cloudflare).
  • 7+ years of experience with DAST tools such as Burp Suite and enterprise scanning platforms such as InsightAppSec.
  • In-depth knowledge of web application security, including OWASP Top Ten risks and secure design principles.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Experience with CDN platforms and integration of security policies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze logs to identify attack patterns.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of security testing tools.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, OSWE, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
