Allianz: Engineer Surveyor - Lift & Crane - South London

Salary: £52,887 per annum (including London allowance)

Location: South London (Remote or Hybrid)

As an Engineer Surveyor at Allianz Engineering Inspection Services, you will play a key role in the success of the company. You will be responsible for visiting client sites to carry out inspections and assess a wide range of plant, equipment, and installations. This role involves anticipating client needs and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hands-on inspections of various items of plant and equipment, such as lifts, material handling equipment, cranes, and construction plant.
• Prepare reports of examination following inspections, using electronic reporting for efficient delivery to clients.
• Work closely with your Engineer Surveyor Team managed by a Senior Operations Team Leader.
• Anticipate client needs and help ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Job Specifications:

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 or above in a mechanical related subject.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Strong time management skills.
• Comfortable using tablets and smartphones as part of your working day.

Desirable:

• Incorporated Engineer qualification.
