Key Responsibilities:

• Drive frontend architecture to the next level of Roof's systems
• Work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team that values quality and efficiency
• Contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Collaborate with team members to develop technical requirements
• Write clean code for functional web applications and reusable libraries
• Create and execute unit, functional, and acceptance tests
• Troubleshoot and support production applications

Job Specifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Champion of agile methodologies and confident in shipping code frequently
• Proven ability to break down complex problems into incremental solutions
• Proactively recommend initiatives to improve engineering technologies and culture
• Thrive in a collaborative environment where everyone supports each other's growth
• Takes ownership of the product and takes pride in the quality of their work
• Excellent communication skills and appreciation for good documentation
• Understands the challenges of early-stage company priorities
• Strong experience with Javascript and React + Redux framework
• Familiarity with SCSS
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience building frontend testing and automation systems
