Key Responsibilities:

• Build new Automator integrations for third-party plugins and apps
• Scope, develop, and test product enhancements, new features and product add-ons
• Work with support to fix bugs reported by the internal team or customers
• Refactor legacy code while maintaining backward compatibility
• Review pull requests from teammates and provide constructive feedback
• Jump between front-end and back-end tasks as needed
• Communicate effectively with the team using various channels, including chat, audio, and video.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience with WordPress plugin development
• 4+ years of Advanced PHP proficiency, including OOP, autoloading, and modern PHP practices
• Experience with AI-assisted development
• Familiarity with consuming APIs from services like Stripe, Drip, Zapier, Google, and MailChimp
• Mastery of WordPress hooks, actions, and filters
• Knowledge of security measures such as escaping, sanitization, and nonces
• Ability to use and extend build tools and package managers
• Competency with version control through git and GitHub
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to keep complex ideas simple
• Previous remote work experience
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with LearnDash and existing Uncanny Automator integration
• Expertise in giving guidance and context for AI coding tools
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, MySQL, and REST API
• Knowledge of TDD and UI/UX design
• Experience with DevOps or infrastructure management.

Location & Hours:

This is a remote position with a team spread across different time zones. While full coverage is not required, you must be available during a portion of the day. The company operates on Eastern Time (UTC -5).
