Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Excel Modelling Consultant to join our team and help us redesign our New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) operating system. As our company continues to grow, we need a skilled professional to build a robust, Excel-based Commercial Gate Tool that will ensure consistent, high-quality decision-making across all development stages. Key Responsibilities

• Design and build an Excel-based Commercial Gate Tool to support decision-making across all development stages.
• Integrate automated calculations for target cost of goods sold (COGS), volume, pricing, and margin scenarios.
• Create scenario-handling logic to support different sourcing routes, project types, and cost assumptions.
• Design clean and usable outputs for Supply Chain, including shopping lists, cash flow forecasts, and more.
• Apply formulas and macros to ensure the tool is robust and user-friendly.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to gather feedback, iterate quickly, and align the tool to real-world use cases.

Job Specifications

• Expert-level Excel modeller with advanced knowledge of formulas, scenario logic, and macros/automation.
• Proven experience in building decision-making tools and governance frameworks.
• Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of margin targets, cost trade-offs, and operational decision-making.
• Comfortable working independently in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, or product development environments is preferred.
