Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy new Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements and specifications.
  • Provide support and enhancements to existing APEX applications, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and implementing feature improvements.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and propose APEX-based solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical designs, including UI/UX layouts, data models, and workflows.
  • Build responsive, secure, and maintainable applications using APEX components.
  • Perform testing to ensure applications meet quality standards and are production-ready.
  • Optimize application performance and adhere to coding standards.
  • Document technical designs and application configurations for knowledge transfer and ongoing maintenance.
  • Stay current with APEX releases and best practices to recommend improvements.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, including recent versions (22.x, 23.x, or 24.x+).
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database design/performance tuning.
  • Experience collaborating with business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Solid understanding of web development concepts and responsive design principles.
  • Proven ability to deliver production-ready applications with a focus on usability, security, and maintainability.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and customizations/extensions.
