Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python
• Design and implement AI features using LLMs and modern ML techniques
• Implement retrieval workflows (RAG, embeddings, vector search)
• Take AI systems from prototype to production and continuously iterate based on real usage
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to make technical trade-offs
• Ensure clean, reliable, and easily extendable systems

Requirements:

General:

• A curious technologist at heart with a strong desire to explore new tools and ideas
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to build reliable systems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Proven track record as a Python developer with at least 3 years of professional experience
• Experience working with ML/AI systems in a production environment
• Native or fluent proficiency in English
• Experience in early-stage startups is a plus

Technical:

• Proficiency in Python language
• Experience with production API development
• Understanding of modern web frameworks
• Familiarity with "engineering basics" such as version control, CI/CD, environments, and debugging
• Experience with implementing and evaluating ML/AI solutions
• Familiarity with building AI features using LLMs
• Knowledge of retrieval workflows (RAG) and embedding-based search
• Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus
• Experience with Natural Language Processing is a plus
• Familiarity with at least one front-end framework is a plus
