Role:

In this role, you will:

  • Use causal inference methods to drive actionable insights and shape the understanding of how product, content, and algorithms influence member content discovery.
  • Develop robust metrics and measurement frameworks to support decision-making and optimize content distribution.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with team members and diverse stakeholders to drive impact and influence decisions.
  • Ensure high-quality outputs that guide decision-making across various areas of Netflix.
  • Proactively explore trends in content discovery to identify future opportunities.
  • Work independently and take ownership of projects.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • An advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a data science role.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis methods, particularly in causal inference, statistical learning, and experimentation.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with SQL for data manipulation.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation:

At Netflix, your compensation will consist solely of an annual salary, with the option to choose between salary and stock options. The company takes a personalized approach to determining top-of-market compensation, considering factors such as job family, background, skills, and experience. The salary range for this role is $372,000.00 - $600,000.00, which may vary based on location.
