The Class Consulting Group is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join their team as a Marketing - Graphic and Web Designing Manager. This is a volunteer position that offers the unique opportunity to work remotely and contribute to the growth of non-profit organizations.

The CLASS Consulting Group is a boutique management consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They specialize in providing consulting services to senior management and Board of Directors of non-profit and philanthropic organizations. The company also offers professionals the chance to gain community leadership experience. CLASS works closely with their clients to help them achieve their mission and create tangible value. They offer a range of business consulting services in Marketing, Strategy, Human Resources/Organization, Finance, and IT.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Group Lead Marketing to create media products that align with CLASS and their clients' objectives
  • Participate in the planning and design of websites, including discussions on layout, organization, and visual elements
  • Review graphic materials regularly and present information in a visually appealing and organized manner
  • Translate client content into functional and visually effective website designs
  • Utilize design software and techniques to create animation and interactive design concepts
  • Develop and enforce content and display standards
  • Redesign and maintain CLASS website, as well as facilitate access for other teams

Requirements:

Education Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in media-related field preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience in web design or related fields such as multimedia design, content management, audio-video editing, and multimedia programming and technology
  • Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, WordPress, Web Programming, Cross-Browser Compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development, and APIs

Skills/Abilities

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Commitment:

  • Minimum 1+ year commitment for the unpaid/pro-bono position
  • Attend weekly virtual meetings on MS Teams
  • Minimum of 5 hours per week (excluding meeting time)
