This role is open to both remote and on-site candidates in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

About the Company

Our client is a leading investment organization with a strong global presence. They are committed to delivering exceptional results through their innovative investment strategies and have a culture of continuous learning and growth. They are now looking for a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi or work remotely within 3h of the Abu Dhabi time zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, design, and build end-to-end quality for a Solace messaging and Azure-based low-latency platform.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy, plan, automation framework, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define quality gates and release criteria, ensuring defect-free and compliant delivery.
  • Architect a reusable automation framework for API, messaging, database, and contract testing.
  • Validate event-driven architecture (EDA) for producer/consumer contracts, schema evolution, and topic compatibility.
  • Automate data quality checks, reconciliation, and data platform testing.
  • Embed quality suites in Azure DevOps and orchestrate tests on AKS with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Conduct performance and security testing, with a focus on latency/throughput and OWASP compliance.
  • Lead QA activities and mentor developers on testability and quality by design.
  • Contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and production canary/verification suites.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in QA/engineering, with at least 5 years in financial/trading systems.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing .NET automation frameworks with regulated-market audits.
  • In-depth knowledge of EDA QA, data-quality, and reconciliation.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AKS, Azure DevOps, and performance/security automation at scale.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional quality initiatives.
  • Strong English proficiency.

Bonus Experience

  • ISTQB Advanced/CSTE, Azure Fundamentals / Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Finance certifications (CFA/FRM) and Agile/Scrum experience.

Additional Details

Location: Abu Dhabi (UAE) or remote within 3h of Abu Dhabi time zone.

Work model: Onsite in Abu Dhabi or remote within 3h of Abu Dhabi time zone.

Type: 40h/week Contract.

Duration: 6-12 months initially, with long-term engagement potential.

Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in their country of residence without employer sponsorship.
