As a Specialized Account Executive, you will engage with enterprise customers and prospects, offering solutions that fundamentally change the way organizations deliver critical web and mobile business applications. You will excel at building relationships with senior executives, establishing business value, and driving sales pipeline. Your ability to articulate the differentiated value of Mendix at both the technical and business levels will be essential in this role. Additionally, you will play a core role in the closing process, including negotiations and procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop opportunities and sales accounts across the given region
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities for Mendix, in conjunction with channel partners
  • Build relationships and establish communications at the highest executive levels in your accounts
  • Understand the formal and informal buying process in the customer's environment
  • Identify customer approvers, decision-makers, and influencers and develop strategies for each to mitigate risk and increase deal confidence
  • Take a core role in the closing process, including negotiations and procurement activities
  • Consistently communicate and brainstorm with an extended team around all aspects of account and opportunity development

Job Specifications:

  • Extensive Enterprise Software sales experience (5+ years)
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual quota and performance targets
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage customer executive relationships at the highest levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles
  • Strong orientation to team communication and collaboration
  • Thorough knowledge of Salesforce to maintain a current and accurate pipeline
  • High energy and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent
