Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement new enhancements and features using your existing skills in C#, JavaScript, jQuery, .Net, and CSS/HTML.
  • Fix occasional bugs to ensure smooth functioning of the platform.
  • Add, update, and maintain shape files used to construct customized ballots for voters based on their postal address.
  • Coordinate with WeVote's engineers to integrate data from Vote USA into WeVote's platform.
  • Respond to server maintenance requirements on AWS, such as system software sunsets.
  • Participate in weekly Zoom meetings to stay updated on project progress.

Requirements:

  • 10+ hours per week availability during core team hours (M-F 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your own time zone).
  • Strong commitment to strengthening American democracy.
  • Passion for politics and using technology to educate and mobilize voters.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of volunteers.
  • Previous experience with .Net and Visual Studio is essential.
