Dublin’s Vox Talk AI Secures €1.35 Million to Revolutionize Alarm Monitoring with AI

In a significant leap for the security technology sector, Dublin-based startup Vox Talk AI has announced the successful closure of a €1.35 million pre-seed funding round. This injection of capital aims to accelerate the commercial rollout of its innovative AI operators designed for the alarm monitoring and CCTV industry.

Pioneering AI in Security

Vox Talk AI is at the forefront of addressing a critical issue faced by Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs): the overwhelming volume of alerts. Traditionally, these centers have had to expand their workforce to cope with increasing alerts, a solution that adds cost without resolving the issue of fluctuating demand. Enter Vox Talk AI, with its multilingual AI operators that efficiently manage repetitive, low-risk alerts, thus providing a cost-effective and scalable solution.

The funding round was co-led by Delta Partners and Act Venture Capital, with significant support from Enterprise Ireland. Mairéad Roche, Associate at ACT Venture Capital, emphasized the compelling nature of Vox Talk AI's solution, noting the transformative potential of their agentic AI technology in reducing operational burdens on human staff.

How Vox Talk AI Works

Founded in April 2025 by Mark Harkin, Vox Talk AI specializes in AI operators that seamlessly integrate with existing ARC systems. These operators are customized to adhere to each client's specific protocols and are activated the moment an alarm is raised. From there, they undertake tasks traditionally handled by humans—such as making voice calls, logging incidents, and managing communications across multiple platforms and languages.

The startup has already established a significant market presence, boasting integration with Sentinel, a leading ARC software provider, and serving clients like Fenix Monitoring, Action 24, and G4S. With its platform handling thousands of calls monthly, Vox Talk AI reports clients saving over 50 hours of operator time per week. This efficiency not only enhances response times for critical alarms but also allows human operators to focus on more complex issues.

Expanding Horizons with Computer Vision

Looking to the future, Vox Talk AI is set to enhance its offering by incorporating computer vision capabilities. This development, driven by customer demand, will enable AI-powered analysis for CCTV and video monitoring. "We've given the AI operator a brain to think, a mouth to talk, and ears to listen, and now we're giving it eyes to see," said Harkin, highlighting the natural progression of their technology.

Implications for the Startup Ecosystem

Vox Talk AI's success underscores the growing importance of AI in transforming traditional industries. For startups, this serves as a powerful example of how innovative technology can create significant value by addressing specific market needs. For investors, it highlights the potential returns from backing AI-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

Conclusion

With fresh funding in hand, Vox Talk AI is poised to expand its footprint across Europe, the UK, and the United States. The company is actively recruiting Development Engineers and Forward Deployed Engineers to support its growth and product development efforts. As the security industry continues to evolve, Vox Talk AI stands at the cutting edge, offering solutions that not only improve efficiency but also make monitoring centers more accessible and effective.
