Hi everyone, I am Jennifer ๐Ÿ‘‹

I am a solo founder and mum currently building Global Sponsor Hub, a platform designed to make international hiring and relocation opportunities easier to navigate.

The idea came from personal experience after seeing how difficult it was to find legitimate sponsorship opportunities when trying to relocate internationally. What started as frustration turned into me teaching myself, building a platform from scratch, and slowly growing an ecosystem that connects sponsorship-ready employers, candidates, and global mobility partners.

I am currently bootstrapping the business whilst wearing all the hats from product and marketing to support and content creation, so I am always keen to connect with other founders, builders, and people creating meaningful things.

Excited to be here and looking forward to learning from everyone else on the journey ๐ŸŒ

Welcome to Startup Networks, Jennifer ๐Ÿ‘‹

Global Sponsor Hub sounds like a really interesting platform, especially with how difficult international sponsorship and relocation can be to navigate for founders and professionals.

Bootstrapping whilst wearing every hat is definitely something a lot of founders here will relate to ๐Ÿ˜… Looking forward to chatting with you next week if you have to reply to your message? and hearing more about what youโ€™re building. Great to have you here!

Hi Jennifer, I truly admire your journey and would love the opportunity to connect with you. I bring extensive experience in cross-border hiring as a CEO, having recruited talent from various countries. I've also personally gone through the process of being hired in places like France, Mexico, Dubai, and the U.S., so I understand firsthand the complexities involved. Cross-border management, as rewarding as it is, can be challenging, bureaucracy and unnecessary paperwork often slow things down, despite living in a globally connected world.

I was wondering if you'd be open to a potential partnership. This could serve as an excellent starting point. For instance, I recently received an offer from a U.S.-based company that wants me to hire young talent from Ivy League schools and other top universities for internships, both paid and unpaid. The plan would involve using their portal to publish and manage these positions. While I haven't made a decision yet due to my packed schedule, I thought it might be worth discussing. Let me know your thoughts.

Love seeing connections like this already happening ๐Ÿ‘

@JenniferG โ€” this is exactly why we opened the new Hiring & Talent section on Startup Networks. Thereโ€™s clearly a growing number of founders and operators here dealing with international hiring, relocation, internships, and cross-border team building.

For @Clenat Desirelle too, this section may be worth a look:

Hiring & Talent

Weโ€™ve added dedicated spaces around:

  • startup hiring advice

  • HR & payroll

  • equity & compensation

  • career advice

  • fractional & freelance talent

Feels very aligned with the conversations happening in this thread already! ๐Ÿ˜Š
