Introduction to KHAOS

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd take a moment to introduce ourselves and the thinking behind Nexus.

Nexus was created by the team at Khaos, a global sports consultancy founded by Tom Varndell (former England Rugby international and the third-highest try scorer in Premiership Rugby history) and Matt Bressons (former Italy Rugby international). While our roots are firmly in sport, we're increasingly exploring how the lessons, relationships and experiences from elite performance can create value in the business world.

My own background spans sailing, family offices and corporate environments, and one thing I've consistently noticed is that some of the most valuable conversations happen outside traditional networking settings.

That's what led us to create Nexus.

Our model is built around two areas: a private membership community and a corporate experiences platform. The membership side brings together business leaders, entrepreneurs and elite athletes in a curated environment designed to encourage meaningful relationships and authentic conversations. Alongside this, we create bespoke experiences, events and leadership programmes that use sport, adventure and shared experiences to challenge perspectives and build stronger connections.

At its core, Nexus is based on a simple belief: great opportunities often come from bringing interesting people together in the right environment.

We have shaped what this looks like but would love to hear from this community.

  • What do you think is missing from traditional networking and membership communities?

  • Have you attended an event or experience that genuinely led to meaningful business relationships?

  • What would make a community like this valuable enough for you to engage with regularly?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and starting some interesting conversations.
