Is measuring whether AI recommends your business a useful service?

Featured Replies

Customers are increasingly asking ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Claude which business they should choose.

That creates a problem for business owners: how do they know whether AI recommends themβ€”or consistently chooses their competitors?

I built AI‑Tracker to measure this.

It creates 20 realistic customer questions based on the business, industry and location, without naming the business in the initial questions. It tests those questions across ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, producing 60 measured responses.

The report shows:

β€’ Whether the business was recommended
β€’ How often it appeared first
β€’ Which competitors were selected
β€’ Why competitors may have been chosen
β€’ What the business should improve next

Unlike simple brand-prompt tests, this measures whether AI independently selects the business.

One-off reports start at Β£19, with monthly monitoring also available.

The site is https://getaitracker.com.

My questions are:

  1. Is this a problem business owners recognise yet?

  2. Is the blind-testing difference clear?

  3. Would the report feel valuable at Β£19?

  4. What would prevent you from buying one?

Honest criticism is very welcome.

Really interesting idea, Lionel!

I think AI recommendations are becoming something more businesses need to pay attention to, and having a way to measure visibility across different AI platforms makes a lot of sense 🫑

The Β£19 price point feels reasonable for a first report too. I'd be interested to see how businesses use the insights to improve their visibility over time.

Tagging @James as I think he'd be interested in checking out your platform. Hello Sir! πŸ‘€
