IT Service Delivery Manager and Founder

πŸ‘‹ Hi, I’m Zintle Sinxo.

πŸ“ I’m based in Cape Town, South Africa, and I’m passionate about building practical solutions to some of Africa’s biggest economic challenges.

πŸ’‘ What I’m working on:
I’m the founder of Skills to Service, a technology-enabled, verification-first talent marketplace designed to bridge the gap between skills development and income generation. The goal is to connect trained and verified talent with real demand from businesses, institutions and organisations, creating a more practical pathway from skills to sustainable work.

🎯 My goals for the next 12 months:
My goal is to validate the Skills to Service model, test customer demand, develop an MVP, secure strategic partnerships and establish a commercially sustainable business model. I want to build the foundation for a venture that can scale across South Africa and eventually into other African markets.

🀝 Who I’d like to meet:
I’d like to connect with founders, venture builders, investors, technology and product specialists, potential customers, strategic partners and people who understand the African startup ecosystem. I’m especially interested in meeting people who can challenge my thinking, open doors to meaningful partnerships and help me build a scalable venture.

❓ Challenges I’m currently facing:
One of the biggest challenges I’ve experienced as an emerging founder is access to appropriate startup funding and meaningful entrepreneurship programmes. Many opportunities have strict age, geographic or eligibility requirements that can exclude capable founders even when the underlying business has potential.

I’m looking for access to funding, mentorship, networks and venture-building support that is inclusive, merit-driven and accessible to founders based on the strength and potential of their ideas rather than age or geographic location.

I’m at a stage where the right access, guidance and network could make a meaningful difference in moving Skills to Service from a promising concept into a validated and scalable African venture.

Welcome to Startup Networks, Zintle! πŸ‘‹

Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself and share what you're building. I really like the focus on connecting verified talent with real opportunities, it's a problem that affects so many communities across Africa.

Building a startup from the ground up is never easy, especially when it comes to finding the right support and funding. Hopefully you'll find plenty of helpful conversations and connections here with people who've been on a similar journey.

Wishing you all the best with Skills to Service, and I look forward to seeing how it develops!

Welcome Zintle!

There are so many platforms out there like this that always end up falling short! I look forward to hearing more about what you're doing - I've been a keen user of platforms for talent marketplacing and have been on pretty much all of them!

User number 1 - in 5 years this will hopefully mean something
