Would You Use Reddit for Customer Research Even If You Never Advertised There?

Featured Replies

A founder is considering Reddit as a way to understand their target customers better, but they have no plans to actually advertise on the platform.

Would you still use Reddit for customer research, and if so, what would you look for?

Definitely. I'd actually trust Reddit comments more for research than a lot of polished survey answers.

People complain about problems there without being asked, which is pretty useful when you're trying to figure out what actually annoys them.
