Hi everyone, I'm Leandré, based in Cape Town, South Africa.

I'm a neuroscientist (MSc, Stellenbosch). My work has been on how the immune system and the gut affect the brain — why some people end up with neurological or psychiatric symptoms and others don't. Most of my career so far has been in labs and clinical research.

I'm now working towards starting a company in that space. It's very early, still taking shape, but the direction is clear to me.

Here's my honest gap: I have the science. I don't have the business or legal side, and I'd rather admit that than pretend otherwise. So I'd really like to meet people with commercial, business or legal backgrounds — especially anyone who's interested in health or biotech and has thought about co-founding.

I'm also open to roles or consulting work in biotech, clinical research or health data while I build.
