My founder advantage comes from over 10 years of hands on experience working with smallholder farmers across Kenya’s agricultural value chains. Through this work, I have supported and trained over 15,000 farmers across different value chains, with practical experience in farmer mobilization, certification, quality management, aggregation, traceability, and market development.

At Avonature, we are turning this experience into a scalable model that currently works with over 2,000 contracted smallholder farmers, including over 1,000 women and over 800 youth. We connect farmers to fair and reliable markets while strengthening their capacity in sustainable production, quality, certification, and climate-smart agriculture. Our goal is to grow our contracted farmer network to over 5,000 within the next two years while expanding premium avocado exports and creating stronger income opportunities across the value chain.

Right now, we’re looking to connect with: impact investors and funders interested in agricultural finance; international avocado buyers and distribution partners; technology partners who can strengthen farmer traceability and supply chain efficiency; and organizations working on climate-smart agriculture and smallholder farmer development.
