This actually made me chuckle because of an experience I had with the last company I worked for. We were doing bulk hiring for a newly-formed department, and while we had more than enough applicants, hardly anyone was getting through. Come to find out, the lady in HR who was in charge of the initial screening was one of those people who just didn't like...people. πŸ˜‚ We'd all worked with her for so long and had never done a hiring spree like that before, so we never noticed it. What a hassle it was to manually go back through all the applicants she turned away! ByteSpark would have come in handy then.

That’s both hilarious and frustrating at the same time! πŸ˜… It’s surprising how much of an impact personal bias (even unintentional) can have on hiring outcomes. Bulk hiring is already a challenge, and having to manually revisit rejected applicants must have been a real headache!

I wonder how much money a startup could save by using AI, instead of a person, to sift through resumes?Β  It must be significant.Β  What's funny is that I hate trying to get my application through AI when I'm the candidate, but I'd probably love using AI when I'm the one hiring.Β Β
