The HMGCC Challenge, in collaboration with Connected Places Catapult, is seeking innovative solutions to develop technology for reading eSIMs in mobile phones to enhance national security officer safety. The project, lasting 12 weeks, offers up to ยฃ60,000 for single organisations and ยฃ120,000 per consortium, focusing on developing a device capable of reading and displaying IMSI numbers from eSIMs without extracting other data, to comply with data protection regulations.
