Our Development Portfolio Team drives OEGEN’s renewable energy projects through the critical development phase, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and broader fund strategies. This team plays a vital role in maintaining strong partnerships with developers and stakeholders to deliver our ambitious growth plans.


Your Role

As a Development Portfolio Manager, you’ll oversee renewable energy projects in the late development phase, ensuring their successful transition to construction. You will manage risks, optimise project delivery, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Development Management:

    • Oversee projects in the late development phase, including planning condition discharge, grid liaison, and contracting.
    • Manage risks, budgets, and delivery timelines to ensure project viability.
  • Procurement:

    • Define and execute contracting strategies.
    • Lead the tendering and negotiation of supply, EPC, and O&M contracts.
  • Pipeline Quality Oversight:

    • Collaborate with development partners to ensure high-quality pipeline projects.
    • Assess and optimise partners’ skills, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
    • Improve project success rates and timelines for construction readiness.
  • Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate strong relationships with developers, funds, and stakeholders to drive project success.

What You’ll Need

  • Extensive experience in renewable energy project development, particularly in late-stage development.
  • Strong technical and project management background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Senior management experience in renewable energy or similar industries.
  • Proficiency in project management, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
