Job Description:

Startup Networks is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the creation of templates and resources for the forum while also crafting engaging thumbnails and social media post templates. The ideal candidate will be proficient in graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality designs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the content team to create visually appealing templates and resources for the forum, including presentation decks, infographics, and downloadable assets.
• Design eye-catching thumbnails for YouTube videos, ensuring they effectively communicate the content and attract viewers' attention.
• Develop social media post templates for platforms like Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook, maintaining brand consistency and engagement goals.
• Create graphics and visuals for promotional materials, event announcements, and digital campaigns to support the marketing efforts of Startup Networks.
• Stay updated on design trends, best practices, and emerging tools to continuously enhance the visual identity and user experience of the forum.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide creative input, and iterate on designs based on feedback.
• Maintain organised files and assets, ensuring easy access and efficient collaboration with team members.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, resourcefulness, and adaptability in meeting project deadlines and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in graphic design software, including Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field preferred.
