Job Description:

Startup Networks is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our YouTube channel that has over 2000+ subscribers, creating thought-provoking video clips, and crafting engaging content for various social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the company's YouTube channel, ensuring regular uploads, optimisation, and audience engagement.
  • Edit and produce high-quality video content, including but not limited to thought leader interviews, panel discussions, tutorials, and promotional videos.
  • Collaborate with content creators and marketing team to brainstorm, develop, and execute video concepts that align with company objectives and audience interests.
  • Edit and optimise video content for different social media platforms, tailoring each clip to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing, social media, and digital marketing to continuously improve content quality and performance.
  • Monitor and analyse video performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for content optimization and audience growth.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to company guidelines across all video content produced.
  • Manage video assets, including organizing files, maintaining backups, and coordinating with team members for asset sharing and collaboration.


Qualifications:

  • 3-6 months experience as a video editor, with a ย portfolio showcasing editing skills and creativity.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of video production processes, including filming techniques, audio editing, color correction, and motion graphics.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in social media video content creation and optimization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Passion for storytelling and visual communication, with a keen eye for aesthetics and narrative flow.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communication, or related field preferred.
  • Duration and Commitment: This is a voluntary position with a flexible commitment, allowing for part-time or full-time engagement based on availability and interest.
